Dear parents & girls,
CCA continues to be suspended for this week.
Please note that there will be NO GB parade on the third week of school (18 Jul, sat).
According to a news report last night, CCA will officially resume next week.
Due to this week's suspension, some changes have to be made to the dates of our existing events. Kindly note the changes in the overview of Term 3 events in the Jul 8 post. =)
More details of the activities that are conducted outside of school will be available one week before the event commences. Ie, a short-write up of the Church Fund-raising on 26 Jul will be posted by 19 Jul.
We will be increasingly using this platform to communicate in the future to enable a faster and more efficient dissemination of information and to be more eco-friendly, so do remember to come back to check for updates regularly! =)

GB Day, 13th July 2009
Dear parent and girls,
GB Day is the day where we commemorate the work of the Girls’ Brigade. GB Singapore started when one school teacher came from England with a passion and a compassion for girls to grow to become responsible and confident women.
Today, there are over 70 GB companies in Singapore with the mission to help every girl discover her uniqueness, reach her fullest potential, embrace good moral values and to prepare every girl to be a positive influence in her generation in Singapore and beyond.
Our program and activities are designed to develop each girl to her fullest potential by equipping, empowering and enabling Every Girl to be a Leader.
GB Day also marks the beginning of the GB fortnight (a fund raising event), during which we hope to raise funds to support our work among the girls. Hence, we would also like to take this opportunity to invite our friends, family, well-wishers and partners to contribute to our work in making a difference in the lives of our girls.
We will be celebrating Girls’ Brigade Day 2009 on Monday, 13 July 2009.
Girls, do note the two things that you will need to do on that day.
1) Wear your GB uniform for the full day
2) Meet at the meeting point at 7am for collection of GB fortnight cards.
Hope you girls have a great GB day!
