GB Local Camp Consent Form

Dear girls,

I am having a little technical difficulty in uploading the consent form for the camp at the moment and will do so once I am able to.

Please look out for the form on this website in the next couple of days. =) Once it's uploaded, you can download the consent form, sign it, then submit it.

Meanwhile, here's some info about the camp:

Venue: Changi Aloha Chalet

Date: 18-20 Nov (fri-sun)

Camp Highlights: Changi Boardwalk Exploration, Amazing Race around the MRT Circle Line, Team-Building Games, Craftwork

Cost: $50 (to be paid in cash on the first day of the camp)

Deadline: Oct 14, fri (submit consent form to GB pigeon hole)

Potluck for Kids' Kampung this sat

Dear girls,

1. FAMILY MEMBERS

As shared during saturday, please let me know by Tuesday, 20 Sep, if your family members are coming. Please email me zeng_sufang_jaclyn@nyps.edu.sg to let me know the number of adults + children coming.

Please note that bus seats for the journey there are limited. If family members turn up without notice, there may not be enough seats.

Entry charges for the outing: GB girls: $10 (subsidised), Family members: $16.

2. FOOD

Thanks for being so enthusiastic in volunteering to bring food for our little potluck during the outing this saturday =)

This is what some of you have offered to bring (please remember to check with your parents!). For the others who would like to bring other food items, please check through the list, make sure it is something not listed, then write on the tag board so that all of us will be updated.

Please note that the estimated total number of people is 50. You do not have to bring for so many people, bring enough for about 10 people unless the amount is specified below.

Rules for outing

I'm so proud of all of you for coming up with this set of rules yourselves!

You have shown that you are sensible and know the right things to do! =) Make sure you remember and obey the rules when we go out next week!

1． General Behaviour

n Don’t talk when the m’ams and the instructors are talking

n Mind your manners

n Wait for your turn

n Queue up in a straight line

n Don’t run about

n Do not be late

n Put on the seat belt on the bus

n Don’t talk loudly

2． Rules regarding the animals

n Do not ill-treat animals

n Take turns to pet the animals

n Obey signs that say do not feed the animals

n Feed animals with appropriate food

n Wash you hands before and after touching the animals

n Do not scare the animals, or talk loudly

3． Rules regarding the food

n Wash hands before and after you eat

n Share food with one another

n Pick up rubbish even if it is not yours

n Don’t throw rubbish on the floor, dispose properly

n Help to pack up after eating

Sep 24 Outing

Hi girls!

Welcome back to a brand new term!

Here are some details for the outing next week:

Time: 9am - 1245pm (please note change from usual parade timing)

Gather: Meeting Point

Attire: GB Polo + skirt

Bring: Small bag + water bottle + party snack

We will be visiting the Pasir Ris Kids' Kampung as suggested by some of you!

It will be a fun outing and here's what you'll be doing there:

1) Longkang fishing (please check if your parents allow you to bring the fish you caught home before your go for the trip!)

2) Pet show

3) Party celebration!

I will be posting up the rules that you have discussed and come up with in the last parade in my next post. Look out for it and remember to abide by the rules when we are there!

Some announcements:

1) Parade is on this week (Sep 17)! See you same time, same place!

2) We are having our outing next week on Sep 24 to Kids' Kampung! You can find out more about what we will be doing at their website: http://www.prkidskampong.com/ More details about the outing will be posted by the end of this week.

3) Please note we have only 3 parades this sem Sep 17, Sep 24 and Nov 5. The other weeks are reserved for your SA revisions.

4) End of year camp will be on Nov 18 - 20 (fri-sun). We will be staying over in the Changi Aloha Chalets! =) Do join us if you can make it. The fees and programme will be available nearer the date.

5) Please note that there will be NO e-consent form sent out for term 4, as the only outing this term has been sent out in Term 3.
