Recap of 28 Jan 2012 - 3rd GB Parade

Welcome back girls! Hope you enjoyed the Lunar New Year break & got to eat lots of cookies! Wow, today we had 44 girls in the Parade! Here's a recap :)

Save your lunch project - Starting today each GB girl across every school is asked to save 50 cents of their lunch money for 85 days (28 Jan to 21 Apr). If you can do more, even better! All the money collected will go towards buying rice and food to feed 5000 elderly and other people in need!!!

Decorate water bottle "saving bank" competition - In craftwork today, each girl was asked to design their water bottle using recycled materials only. The top 3 designs will win a prize!!! We will send these best designs for the national competition as well!

Cheerleading girls - We did more practice today... we need to do more and get much better in the weeks to come! Please practice the steps outside GB as well!

Next week's Parade - Sat 4 Feb 2012

Dress code: GB Polo / PE gear

IMPORTANT

1. Craftwork - You must bring all the recycled materials you need to decorate your water bottle. Don't forget to bring your water bottle for decoration!

2. Parent's contact information - We need the following info - your mom or dad's - Emails, Phone numbers and Address

1. Please push in the chairs under the tables before you leave the classroom! The classroom should be left in a neater condition than when we first walked in!

2. Please respond promptly to instructions from the Ma'ams - Instructions should not have to be repeated!

Recap of 14 Jan 2012 Parade

Hi Girls,

Today we had the new recruits join us for this year's batch. Let's continue to make the new girls feel welcomed in the parades. All the ma'ams are now counting on the older girls to take care of the young ones :)

We also had some of the parents joined us for part of the program after their orientation. We learnt about LOVE and also did some craftwork :) After that we had yummy food!

The rest of the girls in the cheerleading group learnt new routines. Please remember to continue to practice with each other or at home infront of the mirror for the individual routines :)

IMPORTANT

There will be NO GB Parade next week (21 Jan) because of Chinese New Year!!

We will resume normal Parade on the 28 Jan.

Welcome back everyone!

7 Jan 2012 Parade Recap

Today was our very 1st GB for the year!!! Yay! Are you all excited and looking forward to all of the activities we will do this year?! ("yes"... What's that I hear? ..can't hear you!... louder... "YES!!!" :-)

Wasn't the C-H-E-E-R-L-E-A-D-I-N-G tryouts fun? We are so blessed to have ma'am Beverleigh (and her friends who will be joining in the next few weeks) to help train us! And we look forward to the exciting costume and prop ideas from the rest of the girls who will be cheering the team on as they perform :)

We will have the GB recruitment on Monday at 10am. Let your P3 & P4 friends & younger siblings know about it and share with them about what GB is all about!

Please remember to come by 9:55am to the Piano area at Canteen.

Please be in full GB uniform, with badges, name tags :)

Next sat parade on 14 Jan 2012

We will have a special Parade on 14 Jan as we will have Parents' Orientation for the new recruits. Because of this, we will have yummy food at the end of the parade :)

Please be in full GB uniform with badges and name tags - FOR ALL GIRLS!!!

Time and place: NYPS Courtyard by 8am as usual.

IMPORTANT

If you are in the CHEERLEADING TEAM, you will need to bring change of clothing (GB polo shirt/PE attire). But please be in full GB uniform first.
