As mentioned during the last GB meeting, our local camp will be held from 25-27JUNE. (THURS - SAT)
Please check with your parents if you could come for the camp during that period as it falls within your June holidays.
The consent forms will be out next week and please take note that once you have registered your interest in attending the camp, please be committed to it.

The Girls’ Brigade Singapore (GBS) is an international uniformed youth organisation for girls, recognised by Ministry of Education of Singapore as a Co-Curricular Activity in the schools. GBS is an associate member of the National Council of Social Service and was registered as a Charity under the Charities Act, 1982 since 23 April 1985. GBS is registered as an Institution of Public Character (IPC) under the Ministry of Education.

As part of our Enrolment Ceremony program, we would like to invite you to attend a useful parenting workshop entitled "How social media affect the way we think & act" conducted by Pastor Lim Luck Yong (English workshop).
For following are the details for the workshop:
Date/Time : 4 Apr 2015, 9am – 10am (before the ceremony begins)
Venue : Nanyang Primary School, L4 Gallery room
Costs : Sponsored by ARPC.
Through this talk, parents will learn:
· - Recent social media trends and how it unknowingly influence us.
· - Learn how to deal with it as a family.
Workshop Speaker :
Pastor Lim Luck Yong joined ARPC as staff since June 2009. Married to Esther with one daughter & son: Emmanuelle & Seth.
Previously, he started work in Economic Development Board from end 1999, where he was part of the team to develop the Infocomms and media industries in Singapore. Later in early 2006, he joined Nanyang Polytechnic as lecturer and course managed for Singapore's first diploma in computer games programming.
Drawing from his experience as both an industry developer and educator.
Luck Yong will talk about his discovery of the influence of social media on our youths. In addition, he will share on how families can think through these issues clearly, and help each other to strength their family values.
We hope to have you join us for the parents' workshop as our way to thank you and engage our valued stakeholders.

Dear GB girls,
ARPC and its BB & GB companies join the nation in mourning the loss of Singapore’s founding father, the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
Our Enrolment Ceremony, which was originally planned for 28th March 2015, has been postponed as a mark of respect.
The new date will be 4th April 2015.

We will still be meeting this Saturday (28 Mar) for parade. P
lease come dressed in your full GB uniform.
We will be going to one of Mr Lee's memorial tribute site at Botanic Gardens.
Please submit the consent form by FRIDAY, 27 March to locker 64.
Please bring along your water bottle, snacks and writing/decorating stationeries this Sat, 28 Mar.

GB Events
Dear GB girls,
For this coming and following Sat, 14 Mar & 21 Mar, there will be no parade except for those going for JLTC and LGT challenge.
Only the girls going for JLTC:
please assemble at 8am on 14 Mar in your full uniform in school.
Only for those going to the LGT Challenge.
The following Sat, 21 Mar, please meet in school at 7.15am
Wear your GB Polo Tee with nametag attached and school shorts.
Bring your water bottle along as well.
We will be going to Yuying Secondary School and will return only at 2pm that day.
Subsequently, on 28 Mar, our Enrolment Parade and Service will be held in our school, NYPS from 8am - 1pm. More details will follow closer to the date.
